The Legal Practical Guidance Slave Free is a free online resource which aims to help end the injustice of modern slavery and human trafficking.

The Slave Free Seas charitable trust and LexisNexis New Zealand have joined forces to create Practical Guidance - Slave Free: a free, practical legal resource to assist anyone providing legal support to victims of human trafficking.

The module is part of the Legal Practice Guidance suite of modules designed for legal practitioners. The Slave Free module can assist lawyers and advocates who are working pro-bono or considering taking on these types of cases. The Slave Free module provides:

  • Background information on the issue of modern slavery and human trafficking
  • Practical information on how to advocate for the rights of victims
  • Techniques for advocating for policy change

The Slave Free module is, and will always remain, completely free to access. LexisNexis New Zealand is able to provide this free resource thanks to the generous contributions of content from its authors.
