In this study, inclusive policies that attend to sexual orientation and gender identity are found to be associated with more positive experiences and perceptions of school climate for LGBT youth. Promotion of these inclusive policies may further develop SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 10 (reduced inequalities).

The number of countries with a national development plan has more than doubled, from about 62 in 2006 to 134 in 2018. This paper analyses the resurgence of national development planning, identifies the types and content of the plans, and their implications and interactions with the SDGs and the global development agenda.
Directly contributing to SDGs 3 (good health and well-being) and 10 (reduced inequalities), this research informs global prevention strategies for HIV and other STIs among men who have sex with men.
