Cement production consumes large amounts of energy. After rice is transported to mills, the husks are removed from the grain. Rice husk ash (RHA) produced in controlled combustion has been found to be a viable replacement for cement and has the potential to produce energy when combusted. This study can support SDGs 7, 9 and 12.
This article addresses goals 7, 9 and 12 proposing an integrated blockchain-based energy management platform that optimizes energy flows in a microgrid whilst implementing a bilateral trading mechanism.

This paper looks at a number of ways that veterinary anaesthetists can reduce their environmental impact, including by minimizing release of halogenated anaesthetics (which are potent greenhouse gases). This relates to SDGs 12 and 13.

Polymer enhanced ultrafiltration (PEUF) can be a cost effective and energy-efficient membrane separation process in the treatment of wastewater. This article supports SDGs 6, 12 and 14.
