This journal article addresses goals 13, 14 and 15 by discussing how refuges and refugia are important to conservation management because of their potential to protect species from difficult-to-manage threats such as changing climate, extreme events (e.g., drought, fire) and biotic threats (e.g., disease, invasive species).
To mark Earth Day 2020, Global Citizen spoke with seven youth climate activists who shared their hopes for a future in which we take bold climate action. This article contributes to SDGs 1, 7, 13, 14 and 15.

Winner of the Atlas Award in April 2020, this journal article addresses goals 13 and 14 by discussing priority areas where it would be optimal to locate Marine Protected Areas for recovery of marine biodiversity within and outside a country's Exclusive Economic Zones, thus providing a map that will aid both national and international planning of where to protect marine biodiversity as a whole.
