This paper provides an overview of current challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of humanitarian services in conflict settings, in accordance with international human rights law.
This paper supports SDGs 3, 5, and 16 by evaluating the direct and indirect health effects of armed conflicts on women and children worldwide. The authors summarise the available evidence showing how armed conflicts increase the risk of malnutrition, physical injuries, infectious diseases, poor mental health, and poor sexual and reproductive health; key knowledge gaps and research priorities to mitigate some of the harms associated with armed conflicts are also addressed.

The rule of law impact tracker is an interactive tool which quantifies the relationship between the rule of law and social and economic development. The rule of law plays a vital part in underpinning all of the SDGs and in particular the targets of SDG 16 to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of sexual violence on female sexual dysfunction and sexual distress.
In this brief perspective piece, a rural sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) program is described in the hopes that dissemination will lead to increased numbers of rural SANEs, increased reporting of sexual assaults in rural and underserved communities, increased prosecution rates of sexual assault perpetrators, and program sustainability through the provision of a nurse-centered approach to training and support. This article contributes SDGs 3, 5, 9, and 16.
