The modelling study found substantial geographical variations in the prevalence of childhood stunting, ranging from 4.2% to 45.1% across Ghana. The study developed interactive, web-based prevalence maps, which can be used to target public health interventions and research in resource-limited settings. Estimates of exceedance probabilities were developed to be used with the maps so that users can identify areas where predicted prevalence is likely to exceed allowable thresholds.
