Recent guidance from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement drastically altered the lives of international students in America, especially those who are matriculating.

World Mental Health Day, a programme of the World Federation for Mental Health, has been observed on October 10th since 1992. Quality, accessible primary health care is the foundation for universal health coverage and is urgently required as the world grapples with the current health emergency. To mark World Mental Health Day 2020, Elsevier presents a curated, open access collection of 25 journal articles and book chapters focused on making mental health a reality for everyone, everywhere.

By mapping the state of research within each SDG area, this report acknowledges the pivotal role research plays in tackling some of the world’s greatest challenges. It aims to better understand the research community’s global sustainable development efforts and assesses the progress made, as well as unmet research needs.
This chapter addresses SDG 10 and SDG 3 by discussing the substantial disparities that exist in CKD and ESRD populations across race, ethnicity, and social class, and describes the role that social risks play in the development of CKD and ESRD and in their disparate impact on low-income and racial/ethnic minority populations.
