The aim of the March Kennesaw State University College of Computing and Software Engineering Hackathon event, was to demonstrate to students how big data analytics may be used for social good to solve problems in society that make a real difference in people's lives. HPCC Systems provided students with the opportunity to learn more about The ADAM Program and take a look at missing children trends.
The health impacts of the climate crisis demand that health systems adapt their practices and mitigate their carbon emissions. Contributing to SDGs 4, 11 and 13, this article argues that health services and policy research (HSPR) is crucial for the transformation of these systems.
The purpose of this article is to provide a high-yield background of foundational health equity and disparity concepts for radiology trainees, from which additional educational curricula may be derived. Specifically, this article will discuss the fundamental socioeconomic factors known to contribute to discrepant access and use of imaging services, followed by areas in radiology with well-documented disparities of which trainees should be aware.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced sudden transformation in many sectors of the global community, turning the world upside down. Everything has been impacted, not excluding the education sector, which has experienced some unforeseen changes in many parts of the world. The sudden transition to online pedagogy as a result of COVID-19 in developing countries has exposed some inequalities and challenges, as well as benefits. Winner of the Elsevier Atlas Award in December 2020, this article contributes to SDGs 3 and 4 by proposing suggestions so that the challenges presented by the new approach can be mitigated while we come to terms with the disruptions introduced by COVID-19 to the education sector.
The research presents useful findings for policy makers to develop and design interventions to improve adolescents' knowledge of nutrition.
