We study how two mobility social movements with online leverage (namely AltMobility PH and Friends of Pearl Drive) attempt to reorient the trajectory of transport development in favor of commuters and pedestrians by activating State apparatus through politics. Both organizations tried to engage politicians and influence agenda-setting by the State.
Cities with many pedestrian barriers can inhibit community mobility, access to services, and social participation for people with disabilities. Although National Disability Rights policies have been enacted in several nations, it is unclear what progress local governments have made in developing plans and implementing accessibility improvements to the pedestrian infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the existence and quality of city plans used to remove barriers for pedestrians with disabilities.

Fear of crime, which may be present without experiencing an actual crime, can restrict one's daily physical and mental activities and reduce quality of life. In previous research, fear of crime was measured by regional surveys. Though useful for confirming group characteristics, regional surveys cannot measure in real-time, assess individual characteristics, or provide an objective measure of anxiety.

Background Controversy exists about the differences in air pollution exposure and inhalation dose between mode of transport. We aimed to review air pollution exposure and inhaled dose according to mode of transport and pollutant and their effect in terms of years of life expectancy (YLE).
