Stigma negatively affects individuals with cognitive impairment and dementia. This literature review examined the past decade (January 2004 to December 2015) of world-wide research on dementia-related stigma. Using standard systematic review methodology, original research reports were identified and assessed for inclusion based on defined criteria. Initial database searches yielded 516 articles.
While the use of making in participatory co-design is common, I argue for the benefits that making-led participatory co-design can bring to two fields where its use is rare: early-stage innovation and mental health. I draw evidence from my situated cooperation with service users and providers of a regional UK mental health trust. The motivation for this action-research was twofold: to envision a better youth mental health service, and to explore how primary and secondary schools can practice mental health prevention.

Mangrove forests provide critical services around the globe to both human populations and the ecosystems they occupy. However, losses of mangrove habitat of more than 50% have been recorded in some parts of the world, and these losses are largely attributable to human activities. The importance of mangroves and the threats to their persistence have long been recognized, leading to actions taken locally, by national governments, and through international agreements for their protection. In this review, we explore the status of mangrove forests as well as efforts to protect them.

Interesting paper that demonstrates the significant advantages of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) compared to other methods such as serological tests and PCR to detect the hepatitis B virus. LAMP assay provided significant amplification time of less than 15 minutes compared with over 1 hour for PCR.

In this year’s Special Edition of the UN Global Compact-Accenture Strategy CEO Study, the world’s largest program of CEO research on sustainability, we focus our attention on goal 17, transforming partnerships for the Sustainable Development Goals. Following a decade of research into the views of business leaders worldwide, we examine the views of UN leaders. As the UN Secretary-General calls for enhanced cooperation between the United Nations and the private sector, we ask agency heads and partnership practitioners across the UN system: what will it take to scale up partnerships to bring about transformational impact on the SDGs?
Contributing to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), this research report assesses the risks that UN sanctions now face, suggesting steps to protect their legitimacy and effectiveness.

Sang, Yuanrui; Karayaka, Hayrettin Bora;  Yan, Yanjun; Yilmaz, Nadir; Souders, David. 1.18 "Ocean (Marine) Energy", Editor: Ibrahim Dincer, Comprehensive Energy Systems, Elsevier (2018), Pages 733-769, ISBN: 9780128149256.

Marine energies are still early in their development and their potential is largely untapped, but our oceans could supply the entire world with power and begin to eradicate our dependency on fossil fuels. As scientists and governments further research and develop marine energy, we can expect (and hope) that it will become a significant global energy source in the next decade. This book chapter advances SDGs 7, 11 and 13.
