Research without Borders

Elsevier, Elsevier Foundation, June 2017

African share of global research grew by 63 percent in ten years, but African research remains hard to find. Focusing often on local or regional topics and published in unindexed journals, it is in desperate beed to boost its discoverability. Access to high quality, home grown, indexed journals as well as strong ties with international scientists could be revolutionary for African research. The Elsevier Foundation partners with the African Journal Partnership Program (AJPP) supporting their program by pairing Elsevier volunteers with African journals in 9 countries, facitating knowledge exchange and capacity building.
