Moving beyond the divide between technical-oriented and romanticized views of rural and Indigenous producers, an approach that articulates the multidimensionality and complexity of plural sociobioeconomies is needed to transcend the conventional green economy model. Local producers must be acknowledged as equal partners and knowledge holders for an inclusive and fair regional sociobioeconomy in the Amazon.
