An emerging approach to supporting the mental health of refugee and conflict-exposed populations

Elsevier, Lancet Psychiatry Vol 4 No 4 April 2017

Writing in The Lancet Psychiatry about the current global refugee crisis, Reinhard Krausz and Fiona Choi offer a clarion call to those in the mental health field,1 highlighting the scale of the need and the ethical imperative to act, as well as the necessity to develop treatment frameworks that will allow us to respond to the scale and complexity of the situation. We would like to add our voices to this call, and bring attention to an emerging intervention approach that could contribute to our capacity to rise to the occasion.
