Sustainable development is an issue that has become increasingly important globally in recent years. Proof of this fact is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes a series of goals whose achievement involves the sustainable management of resources. But to what extent is it possible to know whether the available resources are being managed in a sustainable way? Could it be said that current generations are using the resources to meet their needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own? To answer these questions, there are several economic indicators of sustainable resource management, which are addressed in this chapter.
