The UAE’s Energy Roadmap

The World Future Energy Summit reflects the UAE’s national energy strategy, which aims to:

• Increase clean energy capacity from 14.2 GW to 19.8 GW by 2030, with renewables comprising 32% of total generation.
   

• Raise the clean energy contribution to 44% by 2040.
   

• Achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, transitioning to 50% of energy from renewable sources.
