Over the past five years, we have used data and analytics to help the research and healthcare  communities navigate the sea of research and to put collaboration, both interdisciplinary and international, at the heart of scientific progress on the SDGs. For the first time, we have published graphics covering all SDGs using data and insights from Scopus and SciVal. These graphics show key metrics for research output, collaboration and impact. Balancing happiness and finances
Although financial wellness benefits have been rising in popularity for some time, the demand for them has grown exponentially this year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and resulting recession. Such benefits can be a vital resource for employees during this stressful time. Advancing SDG 3, this article covers employer considerations around designing a successful financial wellness programme.
On Monday 24 August 2020 – at the beginning of World Water Week - RELX announced the winners of the 2020 RELX Environmental Challenge. Now in its 10th year, the RELX Environmental Challenge supports innovative solutions that improve sustainable access to safe water and sanitation where it is at risk, contributing to SDGs 1, 3, 6 and 10.
Each year the RELX Environmental Challenge is awarded to projects that best demonstrate how they can provide sustainable access to safe water or sanitation. In the past decade, the company has awarded $750,000 to projects and solutions that improve the world’s water quality and sanitation. This article, using innovative parallax storytelling technology, looks at the tangible impact of the RELX Environmental Challenge.
The sixth RELX SDG Inspiration Day took place on Wednesday 24 June 2020 with nearly 400 representatives from business, NGOs, academia and civil society. The Inspiration Day gave hope that, although the pandemic has created significant barriers to meeting the SDGs by 2030, global collaboration is our best bet for overcoming them.

As businesses begin to reopen and bring employees back to the workplace, many employers are receiving requests for workplace accommodations related to COVID-19. According to surveyed attendees of a recent webinar hosted by XpertHR, most requests are from employees who are at-risk or vulnerable to infection from COVID-19, but many are from employees who have a fear of returning to the workplace. Furthering SDGs 3 and 10, this article covers who is at high risk for severe illness, the types of workplace accommodations that are being provided, as well as tips for employers.
