Renewable electricity can facilitate climate change mitigation in the buildings, industry and transport sector via direct electrification or indirect electrification, that is, converting electricity to hydrogen-based fuels. While direct electrification is generally energy efficient, indirect electrification can partially build upon existing applications and infrastructure. However, their roles and relative importance have not been well researched in mitigation scenarios. Here, we derive plausible ranges for both strategies based on EU climate neutrality scenarios using the REMIND model.

How to reduce human-wildlife conflixt through education
Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is responsible for 10% of cases of hepatitis in adults, and 13–17% of cases of fulminant hepatitis. The article proposes a way forward and roadmap to prioritize DILI research and clinical science.
Proper regulation is essential to ensure that such a system benefited those in need, and that those who provided organs are properly compensated. Without significant policy changes, however, far too many patients will continue to languish on waiting lists until they run out of time. The goal of SDG3 is that everyone should have a good health and well-being.
This study including 3173 Ukrainians assessed the levels of stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) prevalence in not displaced persons (NDPs), internally displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees abroad. It found being forcibly displaced from the previous living area and, especially, entering a new cultural environment significantly contributes to the mental health issues caused by war exposure and witnessing.
This article shows how severe OCD of one patient could be greatly improved by applying deep brain stimulation.

Handbook of Nanomaterials: Electronics, Information Technology, Energy, Transportation, and Consumer Products: Volume 1, Volume 1, 1 January 2024

In this chapter, we discuss various methods for synthesizing nanomaterials and their properties for application in energy generation. We also explore the practical applications of different nanomaterial-based energy-generating devices and their performance, positioning them as alternative technologies to traditional power sources. The chapter highlights the overall performance—thermal, electrical, and mechanical—of nanomaterial-based energy generators and examines the role of various nanomaterials in energy-harvesting devices. Finally, we address the current challenges in applying nanomaterials in energy generation.
This study indicates that among people with higher levels of disability, engaging in physical activity is linked to more effective stress coping through enhanced self-efficacy. However, this effect was not observed among people with low levels of disability.

This study explores how visually impaired persons (VIPs) learn mathematical concepts, like the Pythagorean theorem, through tactile and haptic interaction with material objects rather than visual illustrations. Using video-recorded data and conversation analysis, the research highlights how transforming visual materials into tangible forms supports math learning.
