The article presents the development of a novel fusion delivery platform called AAV-aMTD-Parkin, which combines a hydrophobic cell-penetrating peptide sequence with the DNA sequences of AAV and Parkin. This innovative approach has demonstrated significant improvements in cell and tissue permeability, leading to the restoration of motor and cognitive function in animal models of Parkinson's disease (PD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD).

This meta-analysis found that shared text reading significantly improves the listening comprehension skills of students with intellectual disability, with an average increase of 185.77% in their ability to answer comprehension questions. Two evidence-based instructional strategies were identified: using a system of least-to-most prompts to help students answer questions, and teaching the meaning of wh-words. Explicit strategy instruction was potentially evidence-based.
This study reports the first use of BCMA-CD19 bispecific CAR-T cell therapy in a patient with refractory chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), demonstrating significant clinical improvement and sustained remission without relapse after treatment, highlighting the potential of this novel approach for managing difficult-to-treat CIDP cases.
This study evaluated the behavioral, physiological, and molecular effects of social isolation (SI) in adult zebrafish, and whether the animals recover such changes after their reintroduction to the social environment. The results show that SI altered social behaviors, neural activity, and serotonergic and dopaminergic signaling in zebrafish, but these changes were reversed after the animals were reintroduced to a social context for 6 days.
