Food safety concerns every food handling facility and is intricately woven with food nutrition. There are many factors that can make food incongruous for the consumption of humans. Contributing to SDGs 2 and 3, this chapter highlights the different scenarios related to food in respect of microorganism growth, different types of food poisoning caused by different sources, like microbial contamination, pesticides residues, improper handling of food, personal unhygienic practices, and their safety measures.
Understanding the microbiome impact on mental health will improve our understanding of heterogeneity in psychiatry.
This book chapter advances SDG 3 by explaining how pain is considered as the fifth vital sign. Therefore, proper treatment of acute or chronic pain is important for improving the quality of life of patients.

This chapter provides a narrative review of prevalence studies conducted in the regions targeted in this chapter, emphasize the magnitude of the CAMH workforce challenges, describe the importance of considering and addressing the acculturative and socioeconomic challenges that lead to CAMH disparities, and provide solutions and recommendations for the future.
Vision, executive function and balance is worse with age and dementia. Executive function mediates the relationship between vision and balance. Poor vision is related to poor executive function. Poor executive function is related to poor balance control. Older adult clinical tests should examine vision, balance and executive function.
