This Article addresses SDGs 2, 3, and 10 by mapping stunting prevalence in children younger than 5 years in Ghana. The modelling study found substantial geographical variations in the prevalence of childhood stunting, ranging from 4.2% to 45.1% across Ghana. The study developed interactive, web-based prevalence maps, which can be used to target public health interventions and research in resource-limited settings. Estimates of exceedance probabilities were developed to be used with the maps so that users can identify areas where predicted prevalence is likely to exceed allowable thresholds.
This book chapter advances SDG 3 and 10 by discussing the issues currently driving mental healthcare disparities in the Latinx population and how these approaches can provide a viable way to reduce them.

Active case-finding is a long-running and widely implemented intervention for tuberculosis, which has potential benefits in identifying undiagnosed cases in populations with high prevalence.
This case study explores the ICT literacy level of smallholder farmers in Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, to better understand ways in which to enhance the use of ICT and the adoption of ICT for weather forecasting.
Anthropogenic activity is a major driver of seabird injury and mortality in the 21st century. In the current study we aimed to monitor glucocorticoid metabolites (ufGCM) concentrations, as a marker of physiological stress, in injured, emaciated (starvation/illness) and oiled African penguins through the stages of rehabilitation at a rescue centre in South Africa.
Research identifying climate risks to water-energy-food in East Africa.
This chapter advances SDG 6 by presenting a case study for depollution of water, which contributes to achieving clean water in North Africa.
This book chapter addresses SDG 7 and 12 by explaining how biofuel made from producing crops can lend to sustainable agricultural solutions for developing countries with sub-Saharan Africa used as a case study.
