The Lancet Report - Stillbirth in low and middle-income countries
Highlighting the data behind stillbirths to bring about change, this article and video supports SDG 3. 2.6 million babies worldwide are stillborn each year. The majority of these are preventable. The Lancet partnered with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine to find solutions to end this silent scandal.

The number of certification programs has exploded over the last decade, yet we know little about where they operate and whether they are best serving farmers and the environment in those locations. Winning the Elsevier Atlas Award in January 2018, this paper presents the first global map of commodity crop certification as a means to identify the best ways to strengthen and expand certification to support poor rural communities and protect threatened species.The paper contributes to SDGs 1, 10, 12 and 15.

Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in land or, more critically, land grabbing have increasingly targeted developing countries with not yet clear implications for the food security of these countries. This study focuses on the investor’s country of origin and explores the interconnections between SDG 2 and SDG 12. It suggests that specific home institutional contexts can promote corporate pro-active responsible conducts helping expand the land used for crop production, and, thus, improve food security in the host developing country.
