Alzheimer’s Disease: Understanding Biomarkers, Big Data, and Therapy, Volume , 1 January 2021

This book chapter advances SDG #3 and #10 by presenting that (1) some of these depression scales do not correlate, suggesting that they assess different aspects of depression; (2) reports of depression in dementia vary based on depression in dementia scale used; and (3) severe memory impairment may impact the ability to assess depression in the patients using self-reports.
This book chapter advances SDG #3 and #10 by reviewing the extant literature on autophagy in AD and covers recent progress on the molecular mechanisms of NAD+-dependent mitophagy/autophagy regulation and mechanisms underlying the anti-AD potential of NAD+. Further studies to define the NAD+-mitophagy/autophagy axis may shed light on novel therapeutics to treat AD and potentially provide insights into other neurodegenerative diseases.

Assessments, Treatments and Modeling in Aging and Neurological Disease: The Neuroscience of Aging, Volume , 1 January 2021

This book chapter advances SDG #3 and #10 by reviewing the use of nonhuman primates as a viable model of aging and neurodegeneration research.
How does your background affect the possibility of education and employment? Young mothers in Australia have substantially higher labor market precarity than non-mothers, already prior to giving birth.
This article ties to SDG 3. In this study, time-varying associations of pre-migration and post-migration stressors in refugees' mental health were explored. Understanding these time-varying association could help in designing tailored health promotion services at different resettlement stages and improving the efficiency of resource allocation.

These are uncertain times in the Anthropocene, where the health and resilience of all urban inhabitants should be key themes for cities striving for sustainability. To this end, local councils in Australia are applying digital technologies with increasing complexity as components of their urban forest management. This paper applies a more-than-human lens to analyse Australian local council urban forest policies, documents and project information for their inclusion and application of digital technologies.

Cities are wrestling with the practical challenges of transitioning urban water services to become water sensitive; capable of enhancing liveability, sustainability, resilience and productivity in the face of climate change, rapid urbanisation, degraded ecosystems and ageing infrastructure. Indicators can be valuable for guiding actions for improvement, but there is not yet an established index that measures the full suite of attributes that constitute water sensitive performance.
This book chapter advances SDG #3 and #10 by focusing on mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), especially the 5xFAD line.
Solar power is a renewable energy source. An increase in solar power can see a pivot from coal-fired power, a major source of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Global Citizen campaigns on the United Nations’ Global Goals, including goal 7 for affordable and clean energy and goal 13 for climate action. The Global Goals specifically call on all nations to invest in sustainability and renewable power.

Data in 2016 and 2017 has shown that most of Malaysia's river water quality was in Water Quality Index Class II and Class III. The implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) has restricted business activities, human movements as well as anthropogenic activities. The sudden decline in human activities has directly impacted the river water quality. Several observations conducted by reporters of local newspapers, reports released by the Department of Environment (DoE) and Ministry of Environment and Water have shown positive changes in water river quality.
