An XpertHR survey shows that the problem of sexual harassment continues to be a high concern of employers. Providing a safe and legal workplace environment are part of achieving SDGs 5, 8 and 10. This article addresses concerns and offers practical advice on preventing and/or addressing sexual harassment in the workplace.

Supports Goal 15. The HPCC Systems community 10K Trees challenge has launched in conjunction with the National Forest Foundation’s effort to plant 50 million trees across the National Forests of the USA by 2023.

The RELX Group Environmental Challenge 2018 is now open for applications, awarding projects that best demonstrate how they can provide sustainable access to safe water or sanitation. There is a $50,000 prize for the first place entry and a $25,000 prize for the second place entry.

The Oceanology International event offers the world’s leading forum where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with the marine science and ocean technology communities, helping them improve their strategies for measuring, developing, protecting and operating in the world’s oceans. This is directly related to SDG 14: Life below water and advances the SDG Target 14.a to increase scientific knowledge, develop research capacity and transfer marine technology.
