This Article supports SDG 3 by examining whether rehabilitation with hearing aid use in people with hearing loss is associated with lower mortality.

This paper outlines recent research and highlights the need to improve the visibility and equality for women in surgery, biomedical and clinical research. Specifically, it details the current landscape for women in surgery, vision and eye research, the need for reform, potential strategies and the efforts of the Women in Vision and Eye Research Ireland to drive social change through a women's conference and award of a prize for research excellence.

In 2023 the HPCC Systems Community Impact scholarship was announced as a part of an effort to support the Diversity & Inclusion focus areas at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The HPCC Systems Community Impact Scholarship was launched in partnership with Scholarship America to provide two renewable $5,000 scholarships to female high school graduates from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds who plan to pursue a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) undergraduate degree at an eligible college.

This study including 3173 Ukrainians assessed the levels of stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) prevalence in not displaced persons (NDPs), internally displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees abroad. It found being forcibly displaced from the previous living area and, especially, entering a new cultural environment significantly contributes to the mental health issues caused by war exposure and witnessing.
