This book chapter advances SDG 5, 8 and 10 by explaining how the outsized role of women caregivers is attributed to historical, cultural, and social perspectives on gender and caregiving that perpetuate the gender inequalities in unpaid care work. Improved disability training for school bus drivers is needed to advance accessible student transport services. Engaging non-transport stakeholders has produced useful alternatives for accessible student transport services. Explaining the theoretical disability perspectives used in transport research could help to advance inclusive transport, addressing SDGs 4 and 10.
