This chapter aligns with SDGs 7, 11, and 10, by offering a case study on renewable energy and rural electrification in Ecuador, in the context of socioeconomic challenges and climate change, whilst also drawing on other examples from developing countries elsewhere.

The article highlights the potential of AI to support SDGs related to responsible consumption and production (Goal 12), and climate action (Goal 13).

Sex discrimination and sexual misconduct are endemic issues within the National Health Service (NHS). The extent of the problem amongst radiology registrars across the UK is unknown. This national survey explores the experiences of radiology registrars in relation to sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault during radiology training, in addition to the impact on wellbeing and barriers to reporting behaviours.

International Women's Day highlights both women's achievements and ongoing efforts toward global gender equality. Gender disparities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) affect a country's innovation and ability to tackle global challenges. Therefore, recent national education policies have looked for ways to promote gender equality, particularly in the STEM subjects.
In the context of increasing sex differences in psychiatric disorders over time, it is urgent to reduce the sex differences in psychiatric disorders. The findings that sex differences in psychiatric disorders exist almost across the whole life emphasized the adoption of gendered mental health prevention strategies and consistent risk factor management over the lifecourse. The variation of such differences across age and socioeconomic status suggests that the current knowledge - females predominate in internalizing disorders and males predominate in externalizing disorders - can be improved by incorporating information on age and socioeconomic status.
