This book chapter advances SDG 3 and 10 by presenting that (1) some of these depression scales do not correlate, suggesting that they assess different aspects of depression; (2) reports of depression in dementia vary based on depression in dementia scale used; and (3) severe memory impairment may impact the ability to assess depression in the patients using self-reports.
This article aligns with the SDG goal 3 of good health and wellbeing and SDG 10 Reduced inequalities by showing the importance of continuing screening for hepatitis and early detection of liver damage, especially in high-risk population groups.
This Article supports SDG 3 and 10, looking at COVID-19 vaccination, incidence, and mortality data among Indigenous people in Brazil. Incidence was noted to be higher and vaccination coverage lower than in the general population. The paper notes that COVID-19 cases and deaths among Indigenous people could have been improved with better policies and strategies, including improved communication to these communities regarding the vaccine.

Latin America has been particularly hard hit by the COVID-19 syndemic, including the associated economic fallout that has threatened the livelihoods of most families. Social protection platforms and policies should have a crucial role in safeguarding individual and family wellbeing; however, the response has been insufficient to address the scale of the crisis.

This chapter advances Goals 7, 16, and 10 by applying an energy justice framework and some concepts from political ecology to identify the distribution of injustices in the lithium global production network. The authors argue that power asymmetries are significant and that more inclusive decision-making processes are needed for the transition to electro-mobility to be compatible with sustainable development and social justice.
In order to address the impacts of climate change, this manuscript presents a strategy developed to create a central resource, database and web-based platform to integrate data and information on the drivers and the changes within Guyana coastal and marine environment.
