This Article addresses SDG 3 and 5 by using a multidimensional metric to assess gender differences in domains of successful societal ageing in Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries. The findings show that across all domains, men are advantaged, although the difference between genders in index scores varied between countries. These findings could be informative for policy makers, both in identifying specific gender disparities to address, and in learning from countries with more successful societal ageing.
