Sex discrimination and sexual misconduct are endemic issues within the National Health Service (NHS). The extent of the problem amongst radiology registrars across the UK is unknown. This national survey explores the experiences of radiology registrars in relation to sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault during radiology training, in addition to the impact on wellbeing and barriers to reporting behaviours.

This research introduces APAH, an innovative IoT-based autonomous real-time monitoring system designed for industrial wastewater management, particularly in developing countries like India. By integrating multi-parameter sensors and advanced technologies such as machine learning, APAH continuously tracks key water quality metrics and enables timely interventions through automated controls and alerts, demonstrating significant improvements in water quality at industrial treatment plants in Maharashtra.

This content aligns with Goal 3: Good Health and Goal 5: Gender Equality by demonstrating the difference by sex in age of presentation with myocardial infarction. It also examines differences in risk factors and in accuracy of prognostic tests between men and women, which had not previouslty been well-described.

The review explores the role of gut microbiota in high-altitude adaptation, highlighting how microbial alterations impact host physiology and metabolism under hypoxic conditions and discussing potential strategies for enhancing acclimatization through microbiota modulation.
