In addition, it highlights the neuroprotective role of various essential ingredients of plant extracts such as Icariside, Onjisaponin B, Asarones, Liquiritin, Tanshinone IIA (TIIA) and cryptotanshinone (CT), Ginsenoside Rg1, and n-Butylidenephthalide. The efficacy of green nanotechnology are also discussed.
