The research seeks to estimate biogas production potential from livestock and slaughterhouse wastes in Ghana, in order to promote biogas technology as a possible alternative in the search for sustainable energy management methods and in support of the SDG goals.

This article supports SDG's 2, 3 and 12 by considering production steps (cell extraction, cell line establishment, cell culture and scaffolding) and challenges (technology limitations, consumer acceptance & law and legislation) for the development of lLab-based meat, which is more sustainable and safer to consume than conventional meat.
Consumer behaviour towards nanopackaging, one of the most promising trends in food packaging, is systematically reviewed. Social norms, social concerns, and social media behavior are the social factors that drive consumer behaviour; while motivation, perception, learning, attitudes and beliefs, personality, and habits are the main psychological factors driving the consumer decision on buying or adopting the new trend in food packaging. Efforts supported by scientific evidence are needed to raise the awareness, knowledge and trust of consumers to improve consumers perception of sustainable packaging solutions.

Biofilms are a major challenge for the food industry, due to their ability to contaminate surfaces. Foam flow cleaning successfully removed a significant part of one-day biofilms grown on stainless steel surfaces. Life cycle analyses showed that the foam flow process reduces all environmental impacts, mainly due to the reduction in water and energy consumption, which is a crucial contemporary issue.
This article aligns with the SDG goal 3 of Good health and wellbeing, SDG 10 Reduced inequalities, and SDG 12 Responsible consumption and production by proposing Choosing wisely recommendations to help general practitioners adopt a more rational and cost-effective approach to treating patients with viral hepatitis in Brazil and Latin America.

Research indicates that tourists continue to have difficulty assessing animals' welfare at wildlife tourism attractions, and so there is an immediate need for more education on such impacts. The purpose of this paper is to fill this education knowledge gap by introducing an environmental literacy framework, i.e., “what an environmentally literate person should know and be able to do,” in progressing from animal welfare illiteracy in tourism to literacy.
Ultrafiltration with ceramic membranes of olive oil washing wastewater has been demonstrated to be an interesting alternative as a previous step for the recovery of phenolic compounds, which have outstanding antioxidant characteristics. In this way, the treatment of these wastewaters should be based on reusing water and, at the same time, on recovering valuable compounds.

The roadmapping exercise looking at the quantitative modelling of cleaning and decontamination held in 2021 identified a number of factors as common to cleaning and decontamination across many sectors. Tackling new challenges such as the food-water-energy nexus and the wider sustainability agenda means that Sinner’s circle, often used to frame discussions of cleaning in the food sector, needs an upgrade.
Future sustainable food systems should more efficiently use natural resources and reduce food waste.
