The author argues that Imprisonment will not address the harm experienced by victims of crime or heal complex intergenerational trauma and complex needs experienced by Indigenous Australian children. They contend that culturally responsive programs which are Indigenous-led, placed based, holistic, life-course, and healing and family centred have a much better chance of addressing this issue

Purpose: Sarcopenia or age-associated muscle loss is common in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD). We have previously demonstrated the contribution of a leaky gut to sarcopenia in AD. Here, we asked whether resistant exercise (RE) reduces the sarcopenia phenotype by repairing intestinal leakage in patients with AD.

While there is an extensive and substantial body of epidemiological research on gender-specific differences regarding the prevalence, persistence, and comorbidity of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in childhood and adolescence, empirical research on inclusive education largely lacks a differentiated and gender-sensitive research approach. However, initial empirical findings indicate that girls with internalizing behavior problems are to be considered a particularly vulnerable group in school regarding their social integration, their self-concept, their well-being in school and their perception and interpretation of social interaction processes. Can girls with internalizing behavior problems thus be referred to as the 'forgotten gender' of empirical research on inclusive education?

This study compared nutrient-based dietary patterns among U.S. Hispanic/Latino adults across two major national surveys and found that dietdisease relationships, particularly regarding diabetes and hypertension risk, varied significantly depending on the population and sampling strategy. These findings highlight the importance of considering the diversity within Hispanic/Latino communities when designing nutrition and health interventions, as one-size-fits-all approaches may not be effective.
