Read the story behind eyeWitness to Atrocities, an app developed by the International Bar Association (IBA) and LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which helps bring war criminals to justice. It’s the first app that collects, verifies, catalogues and protects images so that they can be used as evidence in a court of law while helping protect the individuals who have been brave enough to take the photos or videos.

Solar power is a renewable energy source. An increase in solar power can see a pivot from coal-fired power, a major source of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Global Citizen campaigns on the United Nations’ Global Goals, including goal 7 for affordable and clean energy and goal 13 for climate action. The Global Goals specifically call on all nations to invest in sustainability and renewable power.

Women and girls are the most socially and economically vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the majority of countries worldwide are not taking the steps to protect them, according to a new report.
UN Women and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) released data on Monday that found only 1 in 8 countries have measures in place to shield women and girls from these effects. This article links to SDGs 3 and 5.
